German Cockroaches: identification, signs & control
How do you know if you have German cockroaches?
German cockroaches are small, about half an inch, light brown, with two dark stripes on the shield behind the head. You'll usually see them in kitchens and bathrooms at night, along with pepper-like droppings in cabinet corners and a musty smell. They breed quickly indoors, so treat early with a structured multi-visit program.

Does having roaches mean my house is dirty?
No. German cockroaches usually arrive hidden in boxes, bags or used appliances, or from a neighboring unit. Clean homes get them too; clutter and food access just help them grow.
