Termite Inspection & Treatment
How does termite treatment work?
Termite treatment starts with a free consultation and an inspection for mud tubes, damaged wood and moisture problems. If termites are active, Rehoboth treats the infestation and installs protection around the structure that targets both visible and hidden termites. Preventative treatment is available too, and every treated home gets an annual re-inspection to keep termites from coming back.
Eastern subterranean termites live in the soil across Pennsylvania and New Jersey and reach homes through mud tubes on foundations, slabs and piers. Damage is usually hidden inside wood until it's serious, which is why a professional inspection matters.

How does termite inspection & treatment work?
Step 1: Free consultation
We check foundation walls, sill plates, basements, crawl spaces, porches and moisture problems for termites and conditions that invite them, then tell you which plan your home qualifies for.
Step 2: Treatment plan
We recommend the right treatment for your home: a liquid treatment, bait stations, or both, and get to work quickly.
Step 3: Continuous protection
The protection system targets termites you can see and the colony you can't.
Step 4: Annual re-inspection
We come back every year to make sure termites haven't found a way back.

What are the signs of termites?
Pencil-width mud tubes on foundation walls or piers; wood that sounds hollow or crumbles; bubbling or rippled paint; and in spring, swarms of winged insects or piles of shed wings near windows and doors.
When do termites swarm in Pennsylvania and New Jersey?
Usually on warm days in spring, often March through May, after a rain. A swarm indoors is a strong sign of an active colony in or under the house. Call for an inspection rather than spraying them.
Does homeowners insurance cover termite damage?
Usually not. Most policies treat termite damage as preventable maintenance. Check your own policy, but plan as if repairs are out of pocket.
Do I need a termite inspection to sell my house?
Yes. Many buyers and lenders ask for a wood-destroying insect (WDI) inspection during a sale, and Rehoboth provides real estate termite inspections with the NPMA-33 report. Call to schedule before your closing date.
Common questions
Is the termite consultation really free?
Yes. The consultation is free, with no obligation.
Can I treat termites myself?
Store-bought products can kill termites you see without reaching the colony, and they can push termites to a new spot. Professional treatment is designed to protect the whole structure.
