Tick, Flea & Mosquito Control
How often should you treat your yard for mosquitoes and ticks?
In southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey, yards are typically treated for mosquitoes and ticks once a month from March through October, the season when both are active. Rehoboth treats shrubs, shaded resting areas and yard edges with EPA-registered products and checks for standing water every visit. Interior flea and tick treatment is available too.
Mosquitoes spend the day resting in shady shrubs; ticks wait in tall grass, leaf litter and the edges where lawn meets woods. Treating those spots monthly through the warm season is what lets you actually use your yard.

How does tick, flea & mosquito control work?
Walk the yard
We find resting and breeding areas: dense shrubs, shaded fence lines, wood edges and anything holding water.
Treat resting areas
A misting treatment on the undersides of leaves and shady areas where mosquitoes and ticks wait.
Dump the water
Every visit includes a standing-water check: buckets, tarps, gutters, toys and saucers.
Repeat monthly
Visits every month from March to October keep the protection steady.

Can fleas and ticks get into my house?
Yes. Pets bring them in most often, but mice, stray animals and even your own clothes can carry them. Once inside they hide in carpet, bedding and furniture. Treat your pets with your vet's guidance and we'll treat the house.
Why do ticks matter so much here?
Pennsylvania reports more Lyme disease cases than almost any other state, and New Jersey is close behind. Blacklegged (deer) ticks carry it, and they thrive in the wooded lots and leaf litter common across our area.
Will the treatment hurt bees?
Mosquito and tick treatments target shaded resting areas, which is where these pests spend their time. We don't spray blooming plants, and we keep treatments away from flowing water like streams and ponds. Tell us about gardens or hives and we'll plan around them.
Common questions
How soon can we use the yard after a treatment?
Once the treatment has dried, usually within an hour or so. We'll give you specific timing at each visit.
Will one treatment get rid of mosquitoes all summer?
No. New mosquitoes fly in and hatch all season. Monthly treatments keep the population knocked down from March through October.
